«Shiren»  means trial, so the set’s name is literally the shinobi’s trial.

And the title isn’t just decoration. The set covers the Chunin Exams, the invasion of Konoha and the Battle of the Sannin, with flashbacks to the Zabuza and Haku arc.

It’s the part of Naruto where the characters stop being academy kids, and the card list shows it.

It’s published by Cicaboom, like the first set, and arrived barely six months after Konoha Shidō, which came out in March 2026.

By village, the Leaf takes the lion’s share with 87 cards, followed by independent characters (36), the Sound Village (26), the Sand (15) and the first six members of the Akatsuki.

Sound and Sand come in strong because the set is about the attack on Konoha.
